Fantastic food. We visit from Denver every year where we have a choice of dozens of fantastic Mexican restaurants and this place lace would even be one of our favorites there. The food is always well seasoned and cooked well. It?s much less spicy than other Mexican places I?ve been to, and Id imagine that?s to cater to the mostly elderly clientele. But they really do a great job of seasoning the food without the heat... View all feedback.
What Gracie Billingsley doesn't like about Las Palmeras:
I ordered a ACP that didn?t taste anything like the normal ACP I get from here. I told the lady and instead of her handling the situation properly she walks away and rolls her eyes. The waiter only checked on us once as well. Thankfully they voided it off but definitely not a place I will be returning too. View all feedback.
Last week I went to the evening to las palmas. it was about 9 o'clock and I was alone. at the entry of the bank was busy with the conversation with a customer. while I was standing, I took a menu to look at the offers. the restaurant was not busy and had only a few customers. I finally caught the eye of the cash register and asked if I could sit in the cabinet. he was wrong. I found out later that the bank was the owner. he came to my table and I ordered a margarita. I then gave him my food order and was very specific. buried bark. I asked that only meat, cheese and sauce be placed on my burrito. I also ordered double-rows instead of drenching and tears and saw a side acidic. the waiter and the owner laughed and had a good time. I had to get their attention and ask for the chips and salsa again. I'll wait 15 minutes later for my meal. the owner/cashier finally arrived and gave me a bag to go. I told him I didn't order my food to go, I want to eat my meal here. he said I thought you wanted it to go because you were on the look for the menu. I repeated that I had never said anything about an order. I've never been asked if it should go or eat! he returned to the kitchen and 15 minutes later he returned with my dinner to my stand. my burrito was covered with salate and tomato and a dolp sour cream on the top. I told the owner that I had ordered it with nothing but meat, cheese and sauce. He just stood there trying to stare me and finally said I will not serve you to forget your margarita. I didn't use ugly speech, nor did I raise my vote. he went away from the table and went to the back of the restaurant. I was stunned. I have no intention of ever coming back. I am a native and they can be sure that these information is circulated among my friends and printed in our special posterity paper and email. the problem was not with me, but with the owner who did not draw attention to what I had ordered.

Unbelievably terrible dishonest! Waitress argumentative when I received a meat meal when I ordered vegetarian. Manager told her to place the correct order. Twenty minutes later manager couldn 't believe I still hadn 't received my meal. I told him, I will take it to go. After never receiving my dinner we paid for what we had received and neither the waitress nor the manager apologized or made any attempt to comp my drink or offer me something to come back. I told the waitress I have never not left a server a tip but she didn 't deserve one. When I received my credit card statement they added a $10 tip to a $38 bill. I did go back and demand the $10, which they gave me and said.. It happens .
Great food, and great service.I would highly recommend this restaurant.
