Description

Perched on the Deschutes River, this bustling waterfront restaurant serves boldly flavored Mexican and Peruvian-inspired fare—fresh guacamole, carne asada, lomo saltado, mole and decadent desserts—paired with generous, expertly mixed margaritas, mojitos and local tap beers. The rustic, comfortable dining room and outdoor marina seating offer unbeatable views for date nights, family meals or tourist evenings. Service is friendly and accommodating despite busy, resort-season crowds; prices skew resort-style, but portions and creativity make it worth a visit.

Ultimately, the food was outstanding. We began with guacamole, and for our main courses, we had the Peruvian baby back ribs and carne asada, both of which we loved. For drinks, we ordered the Super Margaritas and Mojitos, and we enjoyed both. I always recommend 100% agave drinks to avoid headaches and hangovers. I've seen others complain about overpriced, weak margaritas, but honestly, the pour here is just right. Plus, the margaritas are generously sized, served in a salted glass, and come with a half-full shaker on the side—it's essentially a two-for-one deal. This is a resort town, so it's reasonable to expect resort prices. Enjoy the friendly service, the lovely view of the river, and the creative cuisine that truly impresses.

We chose this restaurant for its Peruvian cuisine since my wife is half Peruvian. The food was delicious, and the service was average. Both my wife and I ordered the Lomo Saltado and really enjoyed the Bananas Flambeadas (similar to Bananas Foster) for dessert. Overall, we ordered one of everything on the dessert menu, along with several other entrees. Everyone in our group was pleased with their meals, and we would definitely return.

Great location overlooking the Deschutes River, friendly staff, great drinks, and delicious food. I mean what's not to love? We will definitely be coming back here.

Atmosphere is a little rustic, great view of the river. Good food, I had chicken mole, very tasty. They offer local tap beer, and several flavors of margaritas, all good. A bit over priced, but still a nice evening out.

They are open for inside dining with proper social distancing. We shared a plate of 3 tacos, rice, beans, chips and salsa. And a Tranquilo Especial draft beer. The view is really nice of all the multi-color kayaks. 6/8/22 They also outdoor dining with a great view of the Marina.
