Dined in with my sister and two daughters. Small place with 4 tables. Very friendly cashier who took our order at the register then brought our food to the table. My sister ordered the Mexican roll and fried dumplings. I ordered the spring rolls for my 3 year old, and she loved them, and for myself, I ordered the dragon roll and tuna tataki. Was very satisfied with my experience and the prices are fair! Will definite... View all feedback.
What Ary Celine doesn't like about Sushi Raku:
Friendly staff and the place was extremely busy but the food quality is very subpar. The fish isn’t fresh and the rolls are overpriced for fake crab. Most of the rolls have Imitation Krab and the salmon lover roll the salmon was slimy in texture. I also didn’t like the plates and utensils they serve for dine in guests it just cheapens the experience even more with styrofoam products. The only roll that was semi edibl... View all feedback.
READ THIS FIRST: It is surprisingly GOOD and quick for what it is. Everything is on paper plates. Prices are very fair and some of the food is very good like the Salmon Carpaccio with perfect size pieces and just the right touch of truffle oil. My Tako Yaki had been reheated but it was still super yummy and if a little soft on the outside it was perfect on the inside in both flavor and consistency. They also had super nice Hokkaido Scallop, Toro and sliced Wagyu as specials. The Scallop was outstanding nigiri, the toro was very good for the price and alas we got hit by a freak jalapeno that was crazy hot and wiped out our ability to use our mouths any more so we had to call it quits there. I would definitely go back.
Stopped by for lunch after seeing 4.7 star reviews. It was a let down. People were very nice, fast service great prices. I ordered shrimp udon noodle soup, spicy mango tuna rolls, veggie gyozo and chicken Poke.Gyoza was ok, it is straight steamed dumpling, no flavor whatsoever. Soup was ok, just Udon in pork broth and two soggy shrimp tempura floating in it. Chicken Poke was not worth it. The crispy chicken was not so crispy, doused in Siracha sauce, spoonful of edamame, sliced red onions, mango slices and few avocado slices on clumpy cold sushi rice. My wife had the spicy mango tuna roll, I tried a piece, it was fine.Place was busy and a lot of take out orders., in spite of that they provided great service.
OMG, the sushi tastes incredibly fresh, and there are so many details to appreciate—I'm absolutely in love with it! Food: 5/5
I had a craving for ramen, so I did a quick search and discovered this nearby restaurant. The pork ramen was absolutely delicious, and I also tried a shrimp sushi roll. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was! The service was excellent, the food was spot on, and you can choose to dine in or carry out. I was so hungry that I forgot to take any photos, but I recommend visiting their website or going there to experience it for yourself!
The Japanese cuisine here is exquisite! I absolutely love the takoyaki and the salmon lovers roll. The staff is incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about the dishes they prepare. This place has my heart! Food: 5/5
