I tried PF Changs a few years ago and I didn’t like the food. I had better at a regular Chinese restaurant, except the lettuce wraps were good. Anyways, a colleague wanted to eat there for a meeting so I agreed to go. We shared dynamite shrimp appetizer that was good but spicy (had a serious kick). Then I got a lunch bowl sesame chicken that came with egg drop or hot sour soup. I got the egg drop but didn’t like it.... View all feedback.
I got the egg drop but didn’t like it. The sesame chicken was great it had chicken, broccoli, red bell peppers and onions in a spicy sesame sauce I asked for no bell peppers and it was tasty and chicken was tender. You do have a choice of brown or white rice. I recommend one of the lunch bowls for the value. My colleague got cashew chicken and like it as well.
Sawgrass Mills offers dining options from mass-plastic-industrial to white tablecloths and wine stewards. The Asian decor of P.F. Chang is a respite from both for frazzled shoppers looking for something simple, unhurried and satisfying. Choices range from small plates and appetizers to ‘lunch bowls’ (consisting of any of a variety of entrees, over rice, accompanied by either egg drop or won ton soup) to full-course dinners with cocktails. I met with a couple of friends whom I don’t see too often, and was able to catch up over an unhurried and well-served lunch. Although crowded, we had plenty of room and were able to converse in a normal tone. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended.
