Ate here Friday after the lunch rush (1:30pm) and the fish was Extremely fresh. Generous portions and the avocado and crab were included in the cost. Servers were friendly. Highly recommend! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Poki Bowl:
The portion sizes at this restaurant have significantly decreased compared to a year ago. They now fill the bowl only two-thirds full of rice and provide just 3 small pieces of octopus and 4 pieces of tuna/shrimp, which barely equate to one serving. Perhaps I just had bad luck with a stingy server, but we used to love this place. It's disappointing. View all feedback.
Overpriced for the portions they give now! The portion size has drastically reduced since last year. It’s mostly rice with tiny scoops of fish. It is definitely not worth the price anymore.
My first time eating at Poki Bowl. It is very good. The rice is different from other poke places. I door dashed from here and it is very much worth it and you can go in-store to get your poke too. It is very quick and easy. I was surprised when I door dashed the avocado had no extra charge. Hopefully, going there avocado won't be charged. I will come here again. I can't stop thinking about how good the rice is. It just hits the spot. You have to stop by for an amazing poke!!!!
Poke bowl of salmon and octopus tasted so bland. Maybe it was the Nonspicy sauce? But i had to add soy sauce/sesame oil and lemon juice at home. I love poke bowls so I go to a few places. I was close by so i stopped here for 1st time. Next time I'll drive 20 mins to my favorite poke store.
Very disappointed with this Poke place. $22 bucks and the rice was hard, the fish quality disappointing and hardly any topping options. The bowl seemed half empty too. Definitely not worth the price. Not coming back again.
I live in San Diego, where our Poke Bowl options are everywhere and often considered. However, every time I come to the Bay area to visit my fam I will make the 20+ minute trip to Poki Bowl because to this day it is the *best* poke I've ever had. What truly wins here is the sauce they've created. It's unlike any I can find in SD. It's so so good.Their Spicy Tuna is amazing. Great flavor.Guys in SD we pay a dollar extra for the avocado, they give it to you free here and charge for the masago. A bit weird but I'll gladly take that trade any day. This place rules. The one downside is most definitely the price. It's a little hefty. Aside from that, it's a shame the other location closer to my fam's closed. Great fish and flavor.
