We had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The service was outstanding; the host and owner were very attentive, frequently checking in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. When we mentioned that our table was cold, he proactively checked the door for us without us even having to ask. The food was delicious—the Pho was fresh and flavorful, and the bread was rich and delightful. The Flying Tiger boba was also... View all feedback.
My family was in the mood for the pho during this cold day. we saw this restaurant on the eigelb and were intrigued by it. when entering the door we were greeted and directed to the kiosk. the kiosk was easy to use. we ordered bun bo hue, bun rieu and bo luc lac with redelli pasta. the bun bo hue had authentic apron and warm to the court. my son is a picky esser and he has swallowed the suppe (except for blood pudding). I ate it). the bun rieu suppen taste was very familiar with which I grew up. the broth was very complex with crabs/shrimp flavor. the crab-shrimp ball in the suppe was delicious. I just wish they made it a little lighter and more airier than being as dense as a meatball. the bo luc lac was in good way different. they stir it with redelli nudel. my man ate everything. the service was slow, but we have nothing to do with it because the owner was attentive, friendly, and each court was carefully prepared. we never felt forgotten. we would definitely be back to try other elements on the menu. we would recommend this restaurant to all who live in the bay area especially in the Sunnyvale area.
Came here after a climbing session up the road. What a hidden gem. I needed to bring home food for the family so ordered almost all the dishes available. The crab udon and BBH stood out. The crab came with a generous amount of crab, shrimp and pork. Great broth and the noodles were great. BBH another solid dish with great flavor and noodles. Beef pho was solid just wish the noodles were a little less clumped (most likely result of takeout so won't fault them) The seafood crepe, excellent and they gave it the right amount of crisp, only complaint is that it's a little onion heavy for my families liking. Oh and we also got Boba, mango ! Kids loved it . Between the food, the drink and the very cool owners, you should go here! It's as close to authentic as I have found outside east San Jose.
One of the best places to eat and actually one of the best customer service, the owner is jus tincredible
I stopped ordering pho at Vietnamese restaurants because the excessive amount of MSG in the broth was putting me to sleep. I am happy to report that I successfully drank a bowl of broth without passing out.We missed out on their fresh udon noodles, so we ordered Bun Bo Hue, Banh Canh Cua, and shaking beef. Everything was amazingly tasty. The owner was very friendly and checked on us multiple times. Looking forward to our next visit.
Steve and Jenny’s have the best viet restaurant in the area! You have to come and try their Banh Canh Cua udon noodle dish with shrimp and crab. The udon noodles are made in house and the flavor of the broth is one of the best I’ve ever had. Their hospitality and high quality dishes will keep you coming back!
