I ordered online and picked up, it was pretty quick and the food was packaged well.The reason I'm giving two stars is because the restaurant itself smells really bad. I have no idea why or how a restaurant would smell so terrible, but it completely ruined my impression of the place the food was fine but I won't be going back. Also the restaurant is completely takeout only I was a bit surprised because I expected to walk into an actual restaurant but it's just a huge empty room that smells terrible where the employees barely acknowledge you. The next time I want sushi I'll be looking elsewhere.

The vegetables are a little soggy. For $16 it's a good amount of food but not the best udon I've had. It feels a little like leftover food. This place only serves takeout.

The sush... read more I decided to try Hanamaru because it was more affordable than the sushi restaurant I usually order from, Satsuma. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back. The sushi was quite low quality and just didn’t taste good. We even had to throw some of it away, which has never happened to me with sushi before. Overall, I give the food a rating of 3 out of 5.
