Fågelboet - Sundyberg

I have visited Fågelboet more times than I can count. They offer a variety of Swedish-style Chinese dishes, including some unique options with explanations about their origins. The prices are reasonable. My go-to order is the Peking soup followed by the Peking duck, which may not be carved at the table but still tastes great with crispy skin and tender meat. However, the main reason I keep coming back is Ling, who cooks in the kitchen with her husband. She is a wonderful person, attentive, always smiling, and remembers the names of regular customers. It feels like a homecoming every time I visit. Their lunch buffet is also popular, with fresh sushi and a range of dishes from mild to spicy.

The menu at this restaurant is very Chinese, with some dishes being both boiled and fried or oven-baked. Everything is fresh, tasty, and made with love. Even the decoration on the plate is intricately carved, like a flower from a carrot. My entire experience, from start to finish, was outstanding and I enjoyed a unique and delicious meal.
