Wolseley - Sunderland

The food and service at this restaurant were fantastic. The menu had a good variety and the dishes were well presented, served quickly, and hot. All of our meals came out together.

This pub is a delightful place that offers a diverse menu of delicious food. The food quality is outstanding. The establishment also offers a range of entertainment options, such as karaoke nights on Fridays.

A group of us made a reservation in advance at The Wolseley and were very pleased with the staff and ambiance of the restaurant. The food and drinks were amazing, with a great selection of premium beers like Peroni. The food was delicious, with homemade chips that were cooked perfectly. If you're looking for top-notch pub grub, then this is the place to go. Absolutely brilliant!

I've lived in Sunderland all of my life and right next to the Wolsey for over a decade. I've been in a few times but never ate. Just finished having a meal with my girlfriend (ordered the burger myself and she had the lamb shank). This was by far the nicest burger I've had in years! I can't fault the service, the food, the drinks. If you're looking for a proper pub with amazing food and good beers then come here. Will definitely be returning for food and drinks in the near future.

We often come here for Sunday lunch. It is always really busy but the waitress always finds you a table. You do normally have to wait 5 or 10 mins but it's worth the wait. The Sunday carvery is delicious. All fresh veg with roasted and mash potatoes. As many puddings as you like and delicious gravy. The meat is plentiful and so tender. Great value for money. The only negative is when it's really busy it can feel a bit cramped but nobody seems to mind as the food is great. Give it a try I don't think you be disappointed.
