I visited this restaurant for cocktails on a Friday night and had a positive experience overall. The atmosphere was cozy, and the music was at a reasonable volume, allowing for easy conversation. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced compared to similar establishments. They also offered a good selection of mocktails for non-drinkers. Service was a bit slow in terms of being served and having tables cleared,... View all feedback.
What Tilt-scale-gyro doesn't like about Wildernest:
We ordered a drink, appetizer, and main course each. After waiting for about 20 minutes, our main courses arrived. The waiter explained that the starters we requested did not print out on the ticket. As our steaks were meant to be cooked to our liking, we decided to skip the starters. The steaks were delicious, perfectly cooked, and well-seasoned. However, there was one element missing from my dish that the talented... View all feedback.
Called in for lunch on spec when out for a drive. Place looks amazing! good menu, however some items were not available, however we did call in week following new year. Sunday lunch was fab. Staff were lovely if a little ditzy! A nice relaxed lunch.
What a fabulous addition to Sunderland this is! Great food, amazing selection of drinks and the atmosphere is fabulous at any time of day. Try the cheese fondue-it is amazing.
My friend and I recently visited Wildernest restaurant. I ordered the Lobster Thermidor and my friend got an 8oz steak cooked medium. Unfortunately, his steak was undercooked with a lot of pink in the middle and was tough to cut. My lobster was on the smaller side but still delicious. Thanks to a 2 for 1 deal through the Call the Meerkat app, the total cost wasn't too high, although I wouldn't have been happy paying the full price of £15.95 for my half lobster. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant, and our food was served promptly. The entrance to the restaurant had a charming Palm tree and reminded me of holidays abroad.
We went to this restaurant for Sunday dinner and the food was fantastic. Our server, Gabrielle, provided amazing customer service. We will definitely be returning.
We decided to try out a restaurant during restaurant week, where we could get a three course meal for £15. My wife is quite picky when it comes to food, but she found plenty of options on the menu that she enjoyed. I also had plenty of choices to suit my taste. The popcorn chicken with sweet chilli sauce and slaw was delicious, followed by a juicy and tasty burger, and finished off with some delicious and generous churros. The service we received was excellent, and overall we had a great evening out.
