The New Inn - Sunderland

The recent renovation and updated menu at the New Inn are fantastic. Mark is really impressing customers, especially with the delicious Beef Baguettes that just keep getting better. The gravy is absolutely amazing.

I recently enjoyed a delicious roast top side beef Sunday lunch at the new inn. If you are a fan of traditional family roast dinners, this meal is perfect for you. The vegetables were of excellent quality and the portions of meat were very generous.

I will definitely make a reservation next time I have trouble getting a table again! I have been passing by this charming pub every day for a few years now, always thinking I should try their Sunday dinner. Finally, I decided to give it a try today and it was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere, the staff, the food - all flawless. Everything was homemade. The beef was tender and the generous serving of vegetables cooked to perfection. I even managed to indulge in a delicious chocolate orange cheesecake. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and welcoming, and the value for money was exceptional. If I wasn't already overweight, I would eat here every day. Highly recommended.

Delicious afternoon tea by Kell at The New Inn. The room is warm and welcoming while the food is just lovely! Had to take some home as we couldn't eat it all so have some cake to look forward to! Yummy!
