I believe that if you are seated in the bar area, you should not be charged the same prices as the main dining area. Despite having dined at Thai Bay many times before, I was disappointed this time and will not be returning. The food was average and did not justify the cost, even with the government discount. Our monthly meal led us to a hidden gem in a quiet corner of sunderland. the restaurant menu offers its own slanted on Thai cuisine with some popular, familiar dresses scattered on the side. we started with two of the Sharing tablets with our guests who choose the seafood while our was more meat concentrated. each Sharing Board comes with a few of the four of the starter selections and they proved to be a great idea how we fought to choose individual dishes, and this gave us a great introduction to the thai bay obliquely on dinge, hühnerskeers crushed in satay, ripening, early rolling and dimming sum for us. I had the pork on the pork boarduo main course, a hill of rice with crispy bauch black and delicate pork slices crushed in a very tasty sauce with another diving sauce on the side. jane had the nutty chicken, which was served in a potato-rosti-style dish and also came with rice, a huge part, great worth. Thai restaurants can be a little monotonous, with the same arranged that appear with them all, but thai bay just puts enough twist on it to keep it interesting, with generous portions at a reasonable price. first job, we're back.

Beautiful workers who can't do enough for them to eat as always. great atmosphere, beautiful decor. drink very cheap . basically a great place to go. can not recommend very enough.

Had a great meal here in Wednesday night. we led directly through our table and although it was empty, the meal was excellent. the host was patient when we asked many to the menu, then we took our order. the starters were great, but the main meal (I had a duo of pork) was delicious and the portions generous. they think this place is a hidden gem, but would definitely be back. also not expensive.

My husband and I found Thai bay by chance 2 years ago and have not eaten thai from anywhere else since. Amazing food, fantastic service and the owners and staff are the friendliest around. We have dined as a couple and as a larger party of 15. Nothing is a problem and I would highly recommend x
