Nicola's Coffee And Cakes - Sunderland

I had an afternoon tea voucher to use at this restaurant, but when I arrived, I was informed that they had sold the business. The owner was aggressive when I asked for a refund of £25 instead of the afternoon tea. His wife walked away and their daughter also got involved. I was disappointed by their attitude towards me, especially since I had been a loyal customer. If anyone else has unused vouchers, they have until 4pm today to redeem them. I hope the new owners will be more pleasant than the current ones.

I visited this restaurant on November 16th for a baby shower. The food, all homemade, was fantastic. My favorite was the corned beef pie, which I even brought home for my partner who also loved it. There was a lot of variety and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place for any event, or even just to stop by for lunch. It is a beautiful place with friendly staff.

Cakes and sandwiches are amazing! Especially love the pink slices and peach melbas! They are our go to for homemade cakes. Always great service and friendly atmosphere

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delightful, the staff is wonderful and goes above and beyond for their customers. The atmosphere is lovely and I would definitely come back again.

Where do I start? 10 of us visited to celebrate Mams 80th birthday. Afternoon tea to die for. Freshly made everything sandwiches cakes scones quiches pies the list is endless. Staff are amazing so helpful. Can't wait for the next birthday but we'll be back before then for lunch or a cheeky cake coffee. Love ya all
