We visited Gabrieles on July 22nd and had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making our visit enjoyable without being overbearing. The presentation of the food was excellent, and everything was cooked to perfection—piping hot and delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. What The Review expert doesn't like about Gabriele's Italian:
I was quite disappointed with my visit. I ordered a carbonara, expecting a traditional recipe with egg yolk, but instead received one made with cream and bacon. I also tried the porchetta panini, which tasted rather bland. The restaurant seems to rely on the fact that it's the oldest Italian establishment in the area, but that's the only accolade it seems to have. Not from the opposite of bedlington met a friend and decided to take a little tee time special. the restaurant was very rustic, the service and the eating were superb would recommend.
Top notch Italian restaurant that hides behind an ordinary exterior. I totally recommend this place.
Excellent food and really friendly staff. Great environment to be. We went for my daughters birthday they brought her dessert out with candles in it and sang happy birthday to her, she was over the moon. Thankyou very much
