Cafe At Debenhams Sunderland

The food was very tasty we had soup, one butternut and one tomato and basil. They were both very good. But, the coffee was cold and the overall appearance of the restaurant was untidy. Th staff were good on the whole, but they didn't...seem to have time to clear up regularly.

Whilst shopping at Debenhams we called at their Restaurant' for lunch. From a sparse, limited menu we both chose cottage pie, served with chips and garden peas. We found the cottage pie to be, well, certainly not tasteless but, rather, tasting of anything but real...cottage pie. Not a pleasant experience.

Just a quick Lunch Tuna Baguette so called crusty extremely wet must have been there since yesterday, chesse and ham toasty warmed up far too long, cheese all over the plate, not value for money.

Helpful staff, serving basic but filling breakfast food. Also great deserts . Self serve cutlery and napkins.

Called in for snack to fill in time but was disappointed with the food . Service was ok as was the value for money. Wouldn't rush to go again.
