Fishermans Reef - Sunbury

Wonderful Fish and Chippery close to the centre of town. Owned by a lovely couple, who always give friendly service. Food is not only a good price but is delicious. I recommend the souvlaki and the blue grenadier packs. Been coming here for years and it is still our favourite place for fish and chips in Sunbury.

Excellent fish and chips. The way they use to be. Fresh fish, best potato cakes. Quite busy on a Friday night so order early. Family pack is excellent value for money.

The food is really good. We had some chips and fish that were so fresh and yummy perfect textures for fish and chips. The sauce is delicious! Do not miss the crispy potato cakes, yum. The service is excellent, fast, and friendly. Absolutely will come again to get some more of the potato cakes!

My score 3.5 stars. J I lived at Riddells Creek for 9 years until Oct last year got takeaway lunch from FR occasionally. Initially run by a nice Asian guy (who did great grilled scallops), then taken over by a lovely Greek couple. Ok interior. When I used to eat more red meat, I would get the odd hamburger cheap! Nice chips (we like them cooked for a tad longer than normal) good Potato cakes (J's the expert). Reliable fish each time l would have grilled J would get fried. They never added salt on anything each time we told them (unlike some places that would just forget add it out of habit). Overall good value always service with a smile.
