Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I had an amazing experience at Cracker Barrel today! We timed our visit perfectly, arriving just 10 minutes before our table was ready, and the food was outstanding! The baked chicken and sirloins were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The cornbread and cookies were simply irresistible. The green beans disappeared before I could snap a picture! Our waitress, Hannah A, was incredibly kind and even offered a cup for my husband's peach tea—thank you, Hannah! Overall, it was a fantastic experience and truly lived up to the hype!

I always enjoy my visits to the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. The fireplace during the winter creates a cozy atmosphere, and the gift shop is always stocked with fascinating seasonal snacks. I've consistently been pleased with the service, and the food is excellent. My favorite dish is the Southern Fried Chicken—it's flavorful and juicy. Additionally, there are ample parking spaces in the back for RVs and vehicles towing trailers.

I don’t visit Cracker Barrel often, but I’ve been there for years, and I had a great experience this time. I ordered the Friday fish special, which was cod that was lightly battered and dusted with cornmeal. It was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection—delicate, flaky, crispy, and moist. I would definitely order it again. I also tried the hash brown casserole, and it was excellent, featuring a crispy outside and a creamy, cheesy inside. I enjoyed the cornbread and green beans as well. Overall, the prices were quite reasonable.

Overall, the food was very good on this occasion, I ordered the chicken fried turkey with green beans and bacon Mac and cheese. The turkey was great and bacon Mac and cheese was amazing. The green beans were as good as green beans can be. Service was decent, but I had an overwhelming impression that this location was very understated. It took a very long time to get food, etc. I think we sat at 12:30 and got our food at 13:40. The server was very friendly and treated all their tables very well, but hopefully they can get more help because this was honest the biggest problem I think. We will definitely come back, but probably slower.
