We arrived at 11:30 and the place was empty and we were seated far from the windows. We asked if we could have one of the window tables they said no those are reserved. So we sat down and those window tables were never filled until after 12 o’clock. we had a reservation as well. Couldn’t understand why View all feedback.
What nancyS doesn't like about Sun Valley Club:
The menu options were much more limited than in the past and and the prices were a bit high . $18 for a grilled cheese sandwich for my daughter seems a bit exorbinant. The finding room was scantily decorated . We have had a family tradition of going to lunch in Sun Valley for over 30 years at the Clubhouse opened and Gretchen before that. I was disappointed this year at the experience/value for the money. View all feedback.
Our favourite menus from 2022 are no longer available. server was nice enough, and busboy was excellent, but not enough server overall.
The food was not the usual standard the soup was high in acid and our sandwich had very little bacon on a BLT. the server seemed like he was not trained and the dirty dishes sat on our table till the end of the meal
We usually love the Clubhouse but this time the food was only okay (thick, undercooked bacon on my BLTA that I couldn’t eat) and multiple requests for drink
Great food, nice club and views, friendly staff. Poor bartender that night. Overall pleasant.
Our waiter was not attentive to us. He rarely came to our table to ask if we needed anything or to check on how we liked the food, etc. We were constantly seeking him out. I am not rich and I felt like we were neglected for not being so. I usually give a server 20 -25% gratuity but unfortunately I only felt like giving our server 10%.
