**Ice Cream Delights in Sun Valley: A Season of Mixed Reviews**
Sun Valley's ice cream scene has been a topic of mixed reviews this season. While some visitors rave about the generous portions and delightful flavors, particularly the huckleberry shake, others cite disappointments with small serving sizes and texture issues. The service has received critique, with reports of limited hours and confusing operations adding to guest frustrations. Despite occasional reopening challenges, many are cautiously optimistic about the shop's return, urging others to venture in for a taste. Overall, it seems the allure of a perfect ice cream experience in the mountains remains tantalizing yet elusive.

The A La Mode website for Sun Valley indicates that it is closed for the season, while the Yelp page mentions limited hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. What's happening in Sun Valley? Summer evenings at the village used to be so enjoyable. Even the phone number isn't helpful, just providing a generic message asking you to leave a voicemail. We own property in Sun Valley, and it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. Service hours are limited, services are scarce, and although we paid for extra swim passes, they're still restricted. And beware of visiting when the billionaire club, like Allen Co, is in town! It's quite disappointing that after they leave and things are supposed to open up, many places remain closed. Has ownership of Sun Valley changed hands?
They never shipped my order of candy. Couldn't seem to get an explanation, so I disputed the charge. Their phone number doesn't work...
The portion sizes were generous, and the waffle cone was one of the best I've ever tasted. The service was satisfactory, and I believe it was well worth the price.
Not impressed. Overpriced. Not rich and creamy ice cream. Poor customer service. Wouldn’t recommend.
