Love the food, vibes and service. My favorite soup is the vegetable beef soup. The sandwich was really good. I like that they really use high-quality bungalows. The waitress was super nice (before sure her name was Lauresha) the only reason I gave 4 stars because I think it's a little expensive. But the general culinary experience was great and would definitely go back! View all feedback.
What a jewel! While I ate the delicious food, I noticed how well all the workers work together. You can say they worked together for a long time to be this smooth one. I traveled for my job to find a place like this, making me happy. I have the Diner Special, which has French toast, 2 eggs and your choice of meat. I have scrambled eggs and bacon, a side of sausage links, cakes and coffee. Everything was super good and nothing was meh or bad. I like the sausage links over the bacon. The French toast was so great and it had a nice cripple for many places not having. Couldn't go wrong with this order. The choice of cake is what they have available in their cooler. They had a variety of more than 12 types of cake when I was there and they are freshly made from a local company. I have a chocolate cake (not the right name) and it was wonderful. It was so delicious, firm and the crust was perfect. I doubt something about her cake choices would be bad. Very recommended to check this place when in the area.
Very classic diner type food and atmosphere. The food was great and affordable. We had good service.
Over all a nice little diner... I stopped here while I was in Sun Prairie for work. I had their half chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, and a trip to the salad bar. The half chicken was warm, juicy, and so delicious! The mashed potatoes and gravy were decently average. However the coleslaw was a standout for sure. The salad bar was your run of the mill salad bar with most of the expected fixings. The waitress was prompt and friendly, as was the rest of the staff. What made this diner special more than anything, was the environment. This whole diner is setup like an old fashioned 1950's diner. There are juke boxes and all sorts of old décor. All in all it pulls the whole experience together quite nicely. This place is well worth a stop if you happen to be in Sun Prairie and are looking for a nice place to eat.
Good food, big portions, love the decor! Burger and fries needs a little more seasoning, but some folks may prefer to add their own amount of salt pepper in general.
