Gloria's Mexican Restaurant And Tequila Bar

Growing up in the southwest has spoiled me when it comes to the authentic Mexican eatery. Gloria's reminded me of my youth in the south. Excellent food, excellent service. Fast and delicious and the price was right and reflected the good quality. We will be back for sure and would highly recommend stopping in.

Sun Prairie location is a LOT better than the Madison location for service (friendliness speed), atmosphere, quality of food, and parking.The Enchiladas Mexicanas is fantastic! And the amount of food you get for the price is very good.

Had a bad experience here over a year or two ago but decided to give it a second chance. It was worse this time. Food came before drinks. Bar was not backed up but for some reason they had issues getting the drinks out. Burrito Mexicanos was cold on the inside. Drinks were meh after finally receiving them. There are better choices. We had 3 ppl waiting on us that were all nice but the experience just wasn't good.

Food was decent. I ordered flantas and there was a hair in my food. Instead of refunding me they tried to charge me and got upset when I asked why I was being charged. Our original waiter refused to come back and service us. The older man working there seemed to be the only one who cares for their job. All three of the female waitresses had terrible attitudes all because I had hair in my food that 9/10 was one of their. You’d think this would be a problem for them but they treated it as if the problem was anything. The couple bites of food I had were good. The overall service was terrible I would not go back nor would I recommend dining in with them. We went through three waitresses and they all had terrible service and seem to be discriminating against us.

Love both the West Madison and Sun Prairie Gloria's locations! Food and margaritas are always delicious. Guacamole was half eaten when I remembered to take a picture ? and fajitas pic is blurry...oops...margarita was a little strong (in a GOOD WAY) ?
