Great beer selection and the food's good too!. Always the place to go for great beer, they have several locals on tap and a huge selection of bottled as well. I always get there before the dinner rush so service is always excellent and friendly. The corn fritters help soak up the beer while you're waiting for your entree. This place offers up a racist type atmosphere, they are not too happy with Black Patriots no surprise as the white owner and manager will not make you feel at home if your skin color does not match there. View all feedback.
Took a drive and came across this place unexpectedly. FABULOUS! Atmosphere laid back and yet you cannot help but feel energized! Valerie was our server! Valerie shared what she liked in the menu great conversation. Everyone that worked there were energetic and outgoing! FOOD COOKED TO PERFECTION! We plan on returning to the area just to go there again !
Here is my updated review after visiting the restaurant again tonight. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined significantly compared to my previous positive experience five months ago. The ribeye I ordered medium rare was overcooked and barely had any pink inside. My wife's grilled grouper was overly seasoned and undercooked to the point of being inedible. When I brought these issues to the manager's attention, he was dismissive and rude, insisting that the steak was cooked correctly despite my observations. Overall, the lack of apology and poor customer service have left us extremely disappointed. We will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.
Fantastic dining experience at Palmetto Oyster House. Great food service. If you are lucky you will get Summer as your waitress.
We eat here every time we are in Sumter. Love it!!!
Totally disappointed. Went there for raw oysters and they were disgusting. We had to send them back. Shrimp were ok tea was ok.
