Description

Peking Garden serves generous, affordable Chinese classics with an authentic, homemade feel — standout Mongolian beef, handmade dumplings and shrimp-heavy honey walnut prawns earn praise. Friendly, quick staff, clean dining and easy wheelchair access make it a popular takeout and family spot. Reviews note inconsistent execution: sauces can be heavy, fried rice and soups uneven, and there are reports of spoiled or undercooked items and a disputed refund. Overall a solid value with variable quality, best for takeout and hearty portions.

Got 3 combo dinners 2 sweet and sour chicken and 1 almond chicken all with bbq pork fried rice. Almond chicken was good but gravy could have been better. Fried rice had onions in it, which I've never had in all the Chinese ever ordered and it wasn't great. My boys didn't like the sweet and sour chicken much since it was dark meat. I normally like the egg flower soup, but also didn't like theirs. Overall, we thought Panda Express was better.

We went here three times in three weeks. The third and final time was super sad. The food was decent, but there was chicken in our tofu dish. When we told our server, she said there was no manager on duty and that she couldn't do anything about it. Then they gave us our bill. What's sad is that all we wanted was a vegetarian replacement dish. I asked when the manager would be in, and she said they come in whenever and that she isn't giving out anyone's schedule. I own several public-use businesses and allow our team to call me and even share my phone number to provide excellent customer service. We spent between $30.00 and $50.00 each time we were there, and we were treated so poorly for no reason.

The wonton soup was good, but everything else lacked flavor. This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant, but it’s been a while since my last visit, and it’s definitely not the same. The fried rice was just greasy and brown, with no flavor, vegetables, or even a fried egg. I ordered steamed veggies and chicken, which I realize isn’t the most exciting choice. However, I've had this dish at other Chinese restaurants, and they always manage to make it both healthy and tasty. Unfortunately, this was just bland chicken and veggies with no seasoning at all. It wasn't worth the $20 I spent. I won’t be returning. Very disappointing.

Gave this place a chance...they failed. Hot n sour soup was good. The Mongolian beef was extremely chewy to the point I couldn't eat it.
