We moved to the area a year ago and have been going to this restaurant regularly since then. We initially loved it, but lately the quality has been disappointing. A few times, the pizza dough was not stretched enough, resulting in small pizzas, and sometimes the dough was underproofed. The toppings on the pizzas have also been subpar at times. During our most recent visit, the dough appeared old and had a chalky white color. The taste of wood from the cooking process was overpowering, indicating that the ovens may need to be cleaned. Pizza is one of the few meals we order for takeout, but now we are unsure if we will continue to do so with the declining quality.
After a disappointing initial visit, I decided to give the restaurant a second chance at the request of my son. Upon arrival, we were the only customers in the restaurant but had to wait at the counter to place our order while the employees were discussing staffing issues. Despite being aware of our presence, they chose to make us wait unnecessarily. Both the pizza and breadsticks we ordered were burned, leading me to request a remaking of the order. However, the second attempt at the meal was much improved. As a gesture of apology for the burnt food, a staff member brought out dessert before we left. Overall, the food was decent but the poor customer service left much to be desired. Based on this experience, we will not be returning to the restaurant.
I am blown away by the incredible pizza at this restaurant. I only wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it more often. The service for takeout was excellent, rating a 5 out of 5. The food itself was a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere also earned a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Povaratti Pizza.
Got the hot wings only, they were excellent cooked to perfection
