Incredibly crowded and parking is a nightmare but that is because it is probably the best weekend market in the state. Several vendors who used to be at the Scotch Plains Farmers Market are over here now. View all feedback.
What Virginia Valentin doesn't like about Summit Farmers Market:
I was excited about grabbing an iced coffee and an empanada to enjoy while I shop since I missed breakfast but they're available only as a set of 6+. I read good things about the pizza truck so I went to get a couple of slices but they're sold as a boxed 12 personal pie. I can't shop and carry a pizza box, too. Bought a loaf of bread from Bakers Bounty that became moldy after four days. Not what you would expect from the Summit Farmer's Market.
Excellent produce, baked goods and other food items. Get there early to get your pick.
Quite a bit to see here in a smaller space. spices, desserts, vegetables, flowers and more ... oh and a mobile wood fired pizza oven!!! we will definitely go back
So fun to attend and so many options! Everything was fresh, authentic, and the set up is nice so traffic flows great.

Also, the available street parking was not close to the farmers market so I couldn't return to the car to eat and then resume shopping. Breads, produce items, meats all looked good. I bought Polish kielbasa, pirogies, stuffed cabbage rolls. They were all good. I may return in the fall when the produce offers change seasonally, also, may purchase duck breast and fresh butter then.
