What Joseph Wagner doesn't like about Roots Steakhouse:
The layout of Roots is confusing and we entered into the wrong door before the host stand and were quickly and rudely told so. The bathrooms are in the basement and looked straight out of a train/bus station that did not portray a fine restaurant. The signature beef wellington had little more presentation than an empanada. So when I got there my table wasn't ready, ish happens, so I decided to sit at the bar and take it in stride after all they were booked, that's understandable. But then at the bar Nick Brandon's customer service was phenomenal to say the least and then....after 5 minutes my table was ready. When I tell you that the ambiance, music, food and Maynard my waiter went above and beyond....I had an actual foodgasm. This place was/ is top tier. If you didn't know, you know now! You will not be disappointed. Although I wanted to gatekeep this to myself, I had to leave a review, it's just that good! I highly recommend period!
Great experience on Sat. 4/13/24 with Mic as our waiter! Food was absolutely incredible, everything was spot on. Class act management service.
Outstanding experience from beginning to end here. Our group came without a reservation to celebrate a birthday and the hosts accommodated us with a smile. Our experience was top notch thanks to Tobey. We’re still talking about the bacon.
My server Toby was so funny, kind, patient and helpful! The food was very well made and flavorful.At first I didn't like the table we were positioned at and requested another one, and they swiftly moved us! Very good customer service. It was also my mums birthday and they sang for her as they brought out the cake, and a few of the staff came over to wish her a happy birthday. Overall it was a very nice environment and I would recommend it to anyone!
