Very good breakfast at this location today. Service was fast and very nice and great portion size for money. It has been awhile since I have been to the main street location because of bad food but today was a complete 360 and very pleased. I ordered the sirloin tips with mushrooms and onions with eggs and hashbrowns with pancakes. My husband had the Colorado omelet with pancakes as well. Bravo IHOP View all feedback.
What 5Martin M 10 months ago doesn't like about Ihop:
The food and service were excellent. However, the atmosphere left something to be desired. The restaurant was quite cold, and the staff had to rely on an oil radiator space heater to warm one side of the dining area. It seemed that the walls and windows had minimal insulation. As a result, many patrons were bundled up in sweaters or jackets. View all feedback.
Worst IHOP experience I have ever had. The entrance was littered with scraps of paper. It was very cold. The food was horrible; tough broccoli that was probably wilted before cooking. The salmon was grilled too hard and very dry (that’s what I get for ordering salmon in a pancake house), would have sent the meal back but was too cold to wait on it. Now I know why the parking lot was empty when I pulled in. The servers, however, were very sweet and trying to make the best of working in a cold restaurant that was once a cozy place to get a good meal. Will not be returning.
Today is National Pancake Day. Best place for delicious pancakes and they're FREE
Sat for 20 minutes after 1pm on a Sunday and not a single person stopped to help us. They continued to seat customers throughout the restaurant. After getting a managers attention we were asked to move to another table because our assigned server had already left for the day. After sitting in our new seat for 5 minutes we had a waitress who didn’t bother to introduce herself, she just said, “can I get your drinks” and then walked off. No greeting whatsoever. I understand being busy and stressed out on a Sunday afternoon, but you could at least treat everyone equally. All the tables surrounding us were getting great service. Extremely disappointed. I only stayed because my 5 year old was promised IHOP and didn’t want to go elsewhere.
No wait to be seated, but everything else was a wait. Which might not have been bad since i wanted to visit with out of towners. However, my poached egg was so hard that i had to send it back. The Scrambled tasted like they were powdered. I've had MREs that were better, Never again!
Stopped in for what we hoped would be a late breakfast for me and lunch for my son at 12:30 on a Friday. We were seated quickly and our orders taken in a timely and drinks served. The place was not crowded but we noticed not many people were eating. At 30 minutes I began to get concerned and a nearby elderly woman got up to ask for the manager to inquire about her food. The manager was quite rude to her stating in a sarcastic tone thank you for your patience. The manager then proceeded to clear the table opposite ours practically throwing the dishes and silverware into a bin. She announced to her staff I 'll be in the back if you need me and disappeared. Suddenly after almost 45 minutes waiting, the tables around us and my son and I were served our food. I have always liked IHop and this was our first time at this one. It will also be our last.
