One of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is delicious. The menu has a good variety of food, where you can try different things each time you go. The atmosphere is great, friendly, charming.

I normally get my sushi from here and although the service sucks, tonight pulled the straw with me. A friend and I came here with our KIDS, which 2 did not even eat, and since it was a slow night the waitress decided to make some extra money off of us and slap a 15 dollar gratuity on our bill. Her service was NOT good, we had to ask for a itemized bill because she failed to show us what we were being charged for. When we went up front to ask about this, the girl proceeded to go to her managers office, LIE and tell her we were being aggressive toward them. When all we were doing was asking about the gratuity charge an itemized bill. The manager came out, did not ASK anything, just came out in full defense mode. She was very rude condescending told us that we were not welcomed back! All because we had a concern about OUR bill! I understand gratuity when it comes to dining ADULTS, but for 3 children under 9 and a baby! Someone needs to evaluate this gratuity rule and truly make some changes. I will DEFINITELY find another restaurant to get my sushi from now on.
It was a busy Friday night so we expected to wait a bit. We were seated in about 23 minutes. Pretty good. Once seated, no one came to our table. We had to flag down someone after being seated for about 15 minutes. We ordered drinks with her. Our main server came. We ordered food. Soup and salad comes. Once again the server went MIA. Someone came by after another 30 minutes and asked if we were ok. Our faces must have shown how we felt. We saw other customers seated after us getting food. We told her no we weren't ok. We never received our sushi that was ordered as an appetizer. I watched her walk to the sushi counter and pick up our order just sitting there. We ordered deep fried sushi because we like it warm. It was cold. It must have been sitting there for a while. Our server must had forgotten. One minute later our entrees came. This took almost an hour from being seated. We sent the full order of sushi back and asked for it to be taken off the ticket. A manager came by to check on us. We declined the order to be remade. Our entrees were a little cold as well. By now, we were hungry and didn't want the hassle of sending it back. The steak was over cooked, the lobster was rubbery, and the veggies were cold. Once again our server went MIA again! I asked for a knife to cut my lobster. It took another 8 minutes to get a knife. I've been here a few times before. It has always been an ok experience. This time was really really bad. I'd go back, but not during busy hours or to be served by this server.
This place has gone downhill. I used to go to Fuji in Belle Hall 3 times a week for lunch! The bento box was 9.99 and came with tons of food. I’d get that and the sushi roll with no cucumber no avocado or is sub it with cream cheese. I’d also get one more white sauce and a side of eel sauce. All for 9.99.Now the bento box is 15.99. When I ask for no cucumber no Avacado they say they can’t do that. So I just ordered it with then decided to pick out the avacado and cucumber. Well when I got the roll it was filled with cucumber and avacado and maybe two strings of the crab. I honestly couldn’t even tell there was meat inside the roll. They also charge .50 for white sauce and .50 for the eel sauce. So the 9.99 meal I used to order is now 17.00The owner has gotten greedy here. I live in Summerville and come to the nexton one now but I may come once every couple months but I used to go three times a week! I came around 12 for lunch and there were maybe five tables full and one person at the bar. I wonder why?
