Since we were in Summerville again, we knew we wanted to grab a sandwich at Derek's, right behind Coastal Produce.The woman who works there is always so friendly and nice at this very popular local place. There are many people who call their order in and come pick it up, so there's a steady flow of customers.There are a bunch of picnic tables at the back of the parking lot and under the trees, so large groups can eat here.The sides are all fantastic and made fresh. Pure comfort food- potato salad, Cole slaw, and macaroni salad are our favorites.On this visit, we got our favorite gyros, served with a pineapple ring and a side. The gyros are tasty, fresh, and warm, made to order, with a good amount of meat and cheese.Highly recommend.4.8 stars

Friendly, fast come here for all my fresh veggies ?.Always have collards and good ones the day before Thanksgiving and Christmas. Love this place!!!!

Not bad. Website says to call ahead for better service, so I did. After waiting 15 minutes in line I received my food which was sitting on the counter waiting. The gyro wasn't bad bit definitely had some burnt places on the meat.

What can you say when the sandwich is so good you want to come back again? The original club was VERY good. Produce stand has some fresh and good vegetables. Boiled peanuts smelled amazing so we had to get some for later.
