What User doesn't like about Goat Island:
The food I received at this restaurant was disappointing. The fish and shrimp seemed to have been cooked from frozen and were too hot on the outside but still cold on the inside. The same was true for the Wels removers that I ordered. Another member of our group ordered steak, which was cooked okay, but they only had a generic steak seasoning instead of the sauce requested. Loves the restaurant on the island goat. great eating and atmosphere. love the burgers, garnels, cheese stalls, cakes, wobble rings. it's all good.
Catfish dinner was delish. Did a take out and it was ready when I arrived.
Terrific service in a fun atmosphere with glorious lake views. Try the catfish stew. It is delicious.

It's nasty as all get out there's flies everywhere and it stinks the cook don't ware any gloves are hair net while cooking and the food nasty I wouldn't feed the food to prison inmates
