Skip's Fish N Chips - Summerside

Good fish and chips, however the owner does not welcome GLBT to the establishment. He hides behind religious rhetoric to discriminate against people with alternate lifestyles or skin color. Lots of other choices.

Ordered fish and chips. It came pretty quickly; a huge slab of fish and a nice pile of fries. The food was good, the staff friendly. The restaurant seems like an older building, with apartments? adjoining it. They had a steady flow of customers coming through, with only a few sitting down to eat. Again, nothing fancy at all, just good food.

After trying several resturants on the island, we finally found this gem! The absolute best fish n chips! The owners were very nice and welcoming, and we left with full tummies. Can't wait to go back :)

We were passing through Summerside around lunch time and decided to try Skip's...based on other Trip Advisor reviews. When we pulled up we knew that this unassuming place would either be a pleasant surprise or a big disappointment. Well, it was a pleasant surprise. The service was attentive and friendly. We had our fish and chips within 10 minutes of entering the restaurant and it was very fresh. The fish was not oily at all, but perfectly flaky and delicious. We noticed that the restaurant (including the bathroom) was nice and clean and tidy. This is a great place to stop for a quick bite and the prices are very reasonable.

This is the best fish and chips ever! Great food, great service, always the best! Super special! $12.95 includes pop and sundae!
