Subway
Description
Recent visits to a local Subway have revealed a series of disappointments, notably marked by poor customer service and unsanitary conditions. Customers report encountering unfriendly staff who appeared disinterested and dismissive, contributing to an uncomfortable atmosphere. Cleanliness issues, such as unkempt tables and outdated food, have become commonplace. Additionally, confusion over coupon policies has frustrated patrons further, with instances of staff misunderstanding basic expiration dates. While the quality of food has been inconsistent, particularly with salads and sandwiches lacking requested ingredients, it is the overall service experience that leaves diners yearning for an improvement.

I just had the most uncomfortable experience. The gentlemen that worked there clearly were having a bad day. They were short with answers and snappy with comments. They were laughing and making snarky remarks to each other under their breath. It was just plain uncomfortable. There were quite a few people in line so maybe there were frustrated but they shouldn't act that way in front of customers IMO.
No one here will wear a mask during the middle of a virus outbreak. I asked the manager if their employees would wear a mask and she said no. Then the employees said they didn't have to because they didn't think the disease was a big deal.
This Subway location does not adhere to the updated guidelines regarding the acceptance of coupons. The manager claims that it's because they are an independently owned franchise. However, according to Subway's corporate policy, all locations are required to accept both digital and paper coupons. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The staff is rude and becomes quite aggressive when you try to use your coupons. If you do decide to visit and they refuse to accept your coupon, I suggest contacting corporate to report the issue immediately. Perhaps that will prompt some changes.
I received a small bowl containing only a third of a salad for $9.99. I won't be returning.
Let me start by saying I am an educated woman with a Master’s degree. However, it does not take a degree to know how to comprehend a coupon and the expiration date. This is my first negative review to ever write, due to being a generally, happy-go-lucky person. If there was an option for zero stars, I would click it. HORRIBLE customer service! I come into this subway weekly, and have dealt with one worker in the past who was extremely rude and rushed everyone to tell him what they wanted. I have not seen him in a while and it seemed that maybe they were under new management, as many Subways are. Well, today I had an experience there that was unlike any other. I handed the woman my coupon that said the words “Expires 10/1/23.” She proceeded to tell me that because it said the word “Expire” on it, that it was expired. I am attaching a picture of the coupon so that everyone will know. Obviously, I do not need the extra few dollars that my coupon would have saved, but this time, it’s the principal of the matter. If there is a manager that would reach out to me, I would be happy to discuss my experience in detail.
