Green Top Cafe Dora Bbq - Sumiton

Love their barbecue salad and the barbecue sandwiches are really good too. The homestyle French fries are awesome with ranch dressing made there by green top).

My man and I recently moved into the opposite and have eaten on greentop bbq twice after I noticed that the parking packed out a lot of time! we have tried cheeseburger, pommes, wobble rings and fried pickel. we found the food tasty and made to order. had there been 5 stars, but the prices on their menu are a little high compared to other local restaurants with similar type eating. we go back due to the convenient location and the quality/taste of the food and look forward to looking for other menu items.

It's okay, but not the same as it always was when I hacked into it dry and burned and she keeps increasing her prices.

These guys are in the Alabama BBQ Hall of Fame but I argue it's as much a beer joint as a BBQ spot, due to its location near the historically dry county line. It's legit BBQ. The quality has varied from trip to trip, but overall a good experience. If you've never been, you should go just to go.
