The food was very tasty with fres... read more It's definitely an experience to go there. The ambience is spectacular because the witch theme is thought through from A to Z. The food was very tasty with fresh things. The Fondue Chinoise is apparently a hit there as almost every table ate it. The prices are totally ok What you shouldn't expect is the mega service source. The confused woman sometimes has great days and she seems to be willing to help when it is needed. What the confused woman isn't is ATTENTION, but remember that she's alone, and don't forget the name is program. But it's worth mentioning for anxious children that there are x witches hanging from the ceiling that are still moving, etc. But it has a small play area inside and a cool playground outside.

Drive from Wyssachen towards Fritzenfluh, turn left at the Fritzenhus cheese dairy and follow the tarmac road (Vorder Hinterried) for about 6 km to the end (Gas... read more Drive from Wyssachen towards Fritzenfluh, turn left at the Fritzenhus cheese dairy and follow the tarmac road (Vorder Hinterried) for about 6 km to the end (Gasthof Riedbad). There are parking spaces and beautiful hiking routes; it can be hiked onto the „Napf“ in about 2.5 hours. In order to survive as an inn in this remote location, the landlady of Riedbad made witches the subject and concept. The decoration outside and inside is impressive, imaginative and unique, like the landlady Elisabeth Widmer (Lise) herself. It is recommended to view the exhibition in the Burgerstube of Lise’s self-embroidered Anker-tapestry-pictures! For the evening program, the landlady acts as the sole entertainer and encourages the guests to sing along. The kitchen is authentic, correct and inexpensive. Be sure to try the delicious strawberry tarts! Thank you very much Lise, we will be back!

Sp... read more We visited with friends and family and whilst it is off the beaten track, it is definitely worth a visit, as attested by the many there on the 26th December. Spectacular atmosphere in one half of the restaurant where they have gone above and beyond with a 'witches ' theme decor you have to see it to believe it with all the many little touches that make it special. The other side suits you if in a more somber mood but either side means fantastic Swiss food at great value with entertainment from your tireless hostess.
