Charmingly rooted in the 1950s, this is a pub that time almost forgot, but that's the point! A warm cheery welcome awaits all visitors regulars alike. Good selection of well-kept beers pizzas outback on some evenings. Relaxed approach to letting punters bring supper from the next-door chippy as long as they purchase a drink shows why this is such a great place. Definitely somewhere to stop when you're in town. I recently had both the best and worst pint of Ghostship at this restaurant. The reason for this review is due to the rude treatment I received from a specific member of the bar staff when I returned my cloudy pint. After exchanging it for another pint, which was also unclear, the staff member gave me a dirty look and aggressively poured me a pint of Broadside. It was very frustrating.
