a beautiful picturesque village pub with very friendly and pleasant staff who they feel welcome .. the service is efficient and that eating is quite expensive and nice for the price .. I called the pub on Thursday evening and booked a table for dinner at 7pm Saturday 30th July Turned up at 6.45 and barman advised us the owners/chefs had gone out for dinner so no food was being served He checked the diary for us, which I must say didn't seem to have one entry in it. Very nice little pub. eat good and reasonable price. a beautiful welcome, warm and cozy atmosphere. will be definitiw with more friends return.

Excellent pub. good food and very friendly staff. if I lived near, I would never be gone.
Good local for beer. We called in for a pint and something to eat but they don't serve food now. However we had good banter with the locals and the barman so would have stayed all night if we had already eaten .
