Hit or miss. Our last meal was pretty disappointing both in terms of food and service. The chicken in my 8 Chicken Parm grinder was only slightly larger than one of their chicken fingers(I should have put one side by side to compare). I don't mind paying more and having the chicken actually fill the bread, but when they do this, even if the price is less, I feel ripped off. Service was a disaster, but given the times we're in at least she showed up to work.

My husband and I visited this restaurant to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Since my husband has gluten intolerance, I want to give a heads-up to anyone with celiac disease: the wings are breaded; that's how they are served. This wasn't mentioned in the menu when we were ordering. Since when do wings come breaded? We've never encountered that anywhere else. My husband ordered a Caesar salad with sliced steak on top, and we informed the waitress not to include croutons because of his intolerance. Unfortunately, we had to return the salad because of the croutons (I'm vegetarian and definitely wasn't going to eat them), but we still ended up paying for it.

The restaurant is exceptionally clean, and the waitstaff is extremely friendly. The food was delicious, and it checked all the right boxes for me. Even the prices are reasonable. I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend it!

Zanto's offers a mixed yet intriguing dining experience. While the atmosphere may be on the chilly side, diners appreciate the homey ambiance and clean environment. The menu features a range of hearty Italian dishes, from generously topped pizzas to flavorful chicken parm grinders, often praised for their generous portions and quality ingredients. Despite occasional service hiccups, friendly staff and a wide selection of beers make for an enjoyable visit. Overall, Zanto's stands out for delivering delicious food at reasonable prices, making it a promising choice for both locals and travelers alike.

The pizza is delicious. It's a great spot for a lunch break on the way to Six Flags.

Friendly staff. Delicious food at great prices! Will be returning!

Food was amazing efficient and super nice staff. Had a new waitress was nervous but was a ok with that . After covit you have to have patience

Here for dinner after you found it on Google while leaving six flags. As of New Haven this place really meets my standards. 4 adults and 2 children no complaint. I'd definitely come back if I were in the area.

Pizza is really good. Great crust. Big food on the way to six flags.

I ordered through for Door dash. It was new. My regular place is closed (Red Rose). It's different. For sure. I'm not sure if this chicken Alfredo should be dry like it is? It's okay. Calzone was okay too. Food: 4

I ordered pasta primavera and there were so many fresh vegetables and the sauce was just right. I ordered the same dish at a very well respected Italian restaurant and it didn’t even come close to Zanto’s. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Pasta primavera is an excellent choice for vegetarians Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Darn Good Pizza. Hard to find broccoli rabe. They paired it nicely with spicy and not to hot sausage. Great selection of craft bottled beers. No drafts here. The pie was cooked perfectly and the crust was very good. Looking forward to trying other dishes here. The staff was a bit pre-occupied with chit-chating with each other and not quite engaged with the customer, hence you have to resort to hand motions for a second beer, etc. when it should have been part of the basic follow up. (Management Fault 101, cost 1 Star), Chit-chat can wait. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and courteous. The place is very clean and there is ample parking.

My husband and I met my daughter and grand daughter here for snacks about 3:15 in the afternoon. It was very quiet, clean and friendly. We had appetizers and beverages. I had the mozzarella sticks with marinara and loved them. My teenage grand daughterhad quesadillas, mussels, and BBQ chicken strips and loved them all as did her mom. My husband has a little of each and saidthey were good. All in all a good experience.

Pizza is really good. Superb crust. Great food stop on the way to six flags.

I tried out this restaurant based on a recommendation from some locals. At first glance, it didn't seem much different from any other place. The menu didn't stand out either, but since I love pesto, I decided to go with that. I didn't realize it was a wrap, but it was still good. When the wrap arrived, it didn't look like the usual chicken pesto, which was a bit disappointing. The chicken was delicious and moist, but sadly, the pesto was lacking in flavor. Despite that, the wrap was still enjoyable. I believe this was just a one-time experience, so I can only provide my feedback based on this visit. I would be willing to give this restaurant another chance in the future. Whether I try the pesto again or something else, I am curious to see how they fare with other dishes.
