had added a delicious toncatsu set in a huge fried garnish. they have the opportunity to grind sesame seeds to mix with tonkatsu sauce (original spicy types for them to choose) also the bamboo shooter soups loved them, swap the Misto aromas quite often. good service, thank you View all feedback.
Nice atmosphere and cosy lighting. Went for dinner with my partner in Dec 2022. Really wanted to love the tonkatsu because of the rave reviews but instead, we found the taste of the meat quite bland. Texture wise, the meat was fried to perfection. The sauce did help to make the meat more savoury and we like that you can grind your own sesame and have free refills of veggies. Also, we ordered both the premium pork and the normal pork cutlets couldn't taste the difference, hence, you might want to save a few dollars and order the normal pork cutlet instead. Good to try but probably won't go back next time we're in Kyoto.
Delicious Tonkatsu, it is more of a restaurant vibe than a chain tonkatsu. Go the little alley next to a store and go on. Mill the Sesambon Paste, then mix your sauce of choice. I had the cheapest, Tonkatsu 80g set, because I stingy and broke, but it tasted really good. The lung has fat parts that are soft, the tenderoin is also soft. The bread crumb is really airy, crispy and light. You can refill the dandruffs.
We didn't have to wait too long! The pig was very soft, and the rice was also soft incredibly fluffy. I also liked her cabbage salad with the Yuzu Dressing.
The best tonkatsu i’ve ever had! I will definitely go back here when I visit Kyoto again! Try their premium one! It has a special so. So rich in flavor! The pork is so tender! Easy to bite and chew!
Fenomenal amazing in a great place!! We arrived early (about 18:00), so the wait was short. We had tonkatsu sets with the vegetable and crab cream chains. The food arrived really fast and it was sooooo good!! The Tonkatsu is served with white rice, soup, pimple and lots of cabbage. So much quality food for a very fair price. In addition, the service was also excellent! The menu is in Japanese and English. Will definitely be asap again!
