Watershed Car & Truck Stop - Sudbury

We stopped at the Watershed for lunch while passing through on our way to Timmins. We noticed that the Watershed is under her ownership. The waitress was friendly and quick to get us our food. The food was average.

Here is a restaurant that is always busy because it is the only eatery between Cartier and Timmins on highway 144. The food is quite good and the main part of the building is clean. The staff have always been pleasant and helpful to me. My only complaint would be that the lady's washroom is always messy and usually one or more toilets are out of order or the taps at the sink don't work.If you are hungry they make a good burger and their soups are very good. They have good sandwiches, fries and I had the liver and onions once and it was very good. The hot sandwiches are also good.Ann Hebert

Decided to go there for lunch on the way home from a family vacation. My 5 year old needed to use the bathroom, so off we went. I have never seen such a disgusting bathroom. It looks fairly new(bathroom) but there was a thick layer of filth on everything. Imagine what the kitchen looks like. The health unit should shut this place down. We left and won't be going back. 0 out of 5

Been here many times throughout the years,things were looking up when it went under new ownership. Today confirmed it's no better then it was 10 years ago. Stopped in at 2mins After 2:00pm on new years eve day,closed. I needed gas like many others did,i bumped in to the young kid that works the cash, I asked if I could get gas and he told me to go to Gogama. He could not tell me if it was open there but to read the sign on there door. closed ;). Along with three other people we needed gas and about a dozen people and families stopped in the 10min duration I was there trying to figure out gas situation. I ended up taking gas from my 4wheeler and split with the other gentleman who needed it. The kid was very rude about it,i found it a little humorous this punk kid with attitude whom I previously spoke to about a week before about shoveling around the pumps after a snow storm. When I stopped in at this time it was 7:30am they opened at 6:00 and the kid was playing on his computer and had a ear piece in, seemed friendly,not busy with customers so I asked why the pumps were not shoveled out he looked at me like I was speaking another language and replied,"they have a backhoe" that does it,when I asked him if a backhoe cleans around the pumps he laughed and said no.They used to be open 24hrs but no longer and I feel the place is going down hill fast again. I have had other situations,like a blond older waitress that if she smiled once in a while I think the gods would rain down and her and the sun would shine out of her bum. Not likely,rude as hell.It's to bad because I have many friends and family with similar experiences, so I hope this place closes cause no longer will the get my business.SincerelyUnhappy off customer.

The restaurant has great parking for semi trucks, but the parking area could use more gravel. The morning waitress has a moody attitude, and if you don't speak French, good luck getting her attention. She tends to flirt with the men and completely ignored my wife, even forgetting to bring her tea.
