I should have expected everything to have a smoky flavor based on the name of the restaurant. We tried a variety of poutines and shared them all to taste test. Personally, I found the smoky taste to be a bit overwhelming after a while, but that's just my preference. The owner was very friendly and charming, which was a nice bonus! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Smoke's Poutinerie:
I love poutine but only allow myself this treat once or twice a year. My traditional poutine was cold, the cheese hadn't melted and the fries were slightly undercooked. View all feedback.
Having lived in Quebec for a few years, I am quite familiar with poutine. The poutine at this restaurant is average. It's good, but I feel they overly saturate it with gravy. The fries are acceptable and they use real cheese curds, but the quality is not top-notch. It has a somewhat industrial feel to it. However, for Sudbury standards, it's a decent poutine.

The portions at this restaurant are huge and the service is excellent. Liam, the server, is very friendly and accommodating. He provided great recommendations and the hand-cut fries are exceptional.
The food was great and the service was even better. Our server David help us out when we couldn't decide what we wanted he was a huge help and very knowledgeable. We will be back
The WoW size is huge! Easily feed 4 hungry people. The fries were crispy. I would have preferred more cheese and gravy but I am greedy with these two ingredients. It was hot and tasted good.
