My wife and I have been to these restaurants a number of times. As with the title, the food is appropriate and the prices are quite reasonable. The seats weren't too comfortable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gonga's Grill 4:
I'm new to Sudbury and pass this place many times a day. Figured I'd give it a try. Paid well over $60 for three people to eat, but the portions are huge so there were left overs. Wasn't to impressed with the taste of things. However, the server was extremely friendly, gave us a great experience for our first time. I probably won't go back based on the food alone. We often go there. always greeted with a smiling and a coffee. waitresses are very pleasant and eating is cooked as at home. you're not going away hungry. as I said, we often go there, several times in the month. on the menu. all good. very friendly.
This is a nice dinner with your standard fare of food selections. Nothing special though. Burgers, fires, breakfasts etc... They have signature 'Gonga ' burger with is very large, but the taste is nothing special to report. Many locations which are clean and nicely staffed. I...prefer Jak s dinner for their special menu selections and taste.
Have had breakfast here Falconbridge Rd location) many times, always excellent generous portions;today we had lunch here with our 7-year old grandson who loves their kids' pogo/fries combo $4.95)! Good variety on kids' menu as well as regular menu all meals reasonably priced;...Caesar salad very fresh, served nice cold. Burger platter served with delicious FRESH-cut fries small coleslaw, BLT sandwich very generous serving. Our server Amy was super friendly, great with the little guy very attentive despite fact that restaurant was very busy! Food arrived hot fast!
After waiting almost an hour for our entrees, our appetizer was brought out minutes later. In that time, two customers had already complained and left. (One lady was not even asked if she wanted a beverage) She waited an almost 20 minutes with zero acknowledgement....After we received our food, it was sloppily put together, and half of our fries were undercooked, we didn’t complain just ate what was good enough and asked for containers. Once I went to pay, I asked how much she informed me it was 78$, so I pay debit, input no tip (I had a 5$ in my wallet I was going to tip with), and almost immediately became badgered with “hmm was the machine not working or was there something wrong with the service?!”, I replied with “the food”, she immediately became hostile accusing me of coming in there all the time, spending hundreds and never leaving a tip. I informed her I hadn’t been there ever with my family, given the last time I ever went there was in 2015. needless to say, due to her hostile nature IMMEDIATELY after paying, I didn’t bother pulling out the tip. My partner then went in, and was ignored for 10 minutes by this same waitress, named Stacy, as it is stated on my bill. Finally she looks at him and doesn’t say anything, he then asks “I require your managers number and your name please and thank you” she replies with “I already informed my manager” he reiterated that he would like to have the managers number and she left for the kitchen without saying anything and didn’t come back out for another ~5 minutes, so he repeats himself for the managers number and she, hostilely states “I don’t have to give you that information” in return he replies with “I would like to have your managers number thank you” for her to turn around and say “nope!” So he asks for her name and she states “it’s on your bill” and walked back into the kitchen. This entire altercation took place infront of the entire restaurant, and I’m happy that we got the kids in the car before dealing with the terrible service. Needless to say, our first time there as a family, and our last.
