What Jesper Nurmi doesn't like about Café Time Coffee La Recoleta:
Did not really like the Americano special blend I got. (18Bs). But that could be my taste of course. The ham cheese sandwich (25Bs) was a bit simple, maybe add some herbs? All in all, a bit expensive for what I got compared to other places in the city. The place was nice with some relaxing background music and with a nice view of the city though! Excellent view over a great part of Sucre. Combine your visit with a lunch in restaurant Termitero in the upper part of Calle Grau with a vegetarian and non-vegetarian daily menu.
Totally worth a visit to see the beautiful views of the city. It's free and it feels very safe which is great! Plenty of seating and it's not too hard to access (a little bit of a steep climb but totally doable). Don't expect too much from it however, as there is little to do at the top (however, the cafe is a GREAT place to kill some time).
Not tu Best view of the sunset but a nice area where you can get a good view of the city.
Beautiful view. There is shade from the sun. Definitely recommend it here.
