Il Capriolo - Subiaco

We first arrived here at the end of a walk along the Cammino di San Tommaso from Subiaco and we needed a cold beer to cool us. It was delivered to us outside by a friendly waiter. We really enjoyed the ambience that we returned for dinner. We chose pizza which we shared then we accepted the offer of home-made tiramisu and it was the best I have eaten. This was followed by a complimentary drink. I chose coffee and it was excellent and my daughter chose limoncello and said it was lovely. We were farewelled by both staff members who wished us 'Buon Camino ' for the rest of our walk to Ortona. It was a special night of friendship.

Pasta was good. Vegetables also. Most of stuff was finished at 14:00. Meat was too salty but fresh. Service terrible. Slow and unfriendly.

Great food, friendly staff, exceptional location. good quality/price. We'll be back!
