Sumi-ka, is a little hide gem in Subang Jaya area.you will not get a table if no advanced reservation, unless you go there in early of evening (6 sharp is their opening time). Give it a try if you are yakitori fan. Chef is Japanese but service crews are local. I cant use 'roomy ' to describe this restaurant but small , cosy. Great yakitori. Fares well even by japanese standards. This place only takes cash and they aren't cheap so make sure you bring enough. More so because you will most likely be ordering seconds! Seating is limited, best to book in advance.
If you are looking for Japanese skewers (to splurge on), i highly recommend this. A small eatery that felt like a shop in Japan, open kitchen to watch and friendly service. The moment i sank my teeth on the beef ribs, yum! Succulent meat cooked perfectly. The chicken thigh was tender. The citrus/tangy editions of breast meat were good too. Had the house sake to warm the night. Not a fan of the rice based dishes; go straight for the protein. Call to reserve seats.

Taste nice and full of seasalt aroma.

Everytime we talk about the japanese cuisine, I'm tired listening about Sushi, Udon, Bento and bla bla bla. This time, it's all about the exotic japanese cuisine. It's not that exotic, it's just non typical.<br/ <br/ I don't know about other places but this place serves the best Yakitori in the area and possibly one of the best in this nation. Not just that, the beef ribs, chicken wings, beef tongue here were absolutely delicious and highly recommended.<br/ <br/ Don't forget to try the pudding. It's limited.
