An upmarket conduit of a japanese ramen restaurant, this small and somewhat expensive restaurant nevertheless serves wonderfully warming ramen soups and a variety of other japanese treats. The gyozas come particularly recommended, and we were glad we did not skip dessert we combined the...green tea ice cream with the apple wontons, and it came off a treat. Extra marks for having a genuinely 'japanese ' toilet with more buttons and dials than my TV remote.

Good noodles, but pricey. Note that the dishes start very basic all additions are sides and cost extra. Still, probably the most authentic noodle shop I've had in the country.

Great ramen, sake, and atmosphere. A bit small but it goes with the Japanese feel. Not sure if they take reservations but they filled up pretty quick! Think we got lucky with our table.

I ordered the brothless Komen ramen. The noodles, meat and veggies were all uniformly excellent, very flavorful. Good service, although I went at off hours and no other customers were there. The whole place is cozy and well-designed. Unfortunately for me the price point is...higher than I expected. Ramen bars are by nature simple affairs, but at 30.000 for a basic bowl without any additions, Tomodachi prices me out as a regular customer. However I would return here for a special occasion.

The venue was very polished and chic, but the food was very poorly treated, they said it was a very Japanese experience, but the lack of knowledge was overwhelming, the ingredients were mixed in random ways, it was if they copied a Japanese place from...a picture but didn't take the time to learn or analyze the cuisine, we didn't liked the food at all. The ramen noodles were doughy and not properly cut, the broth had no soul and it was very heavy, we couldn't sleep after it, my boyfriend got sick from it. The side dishes we very boring and were under seasoned. If u wanna have a bottle of sake this is your place, but stay away from the food.
