When we arrived at Daniel and Team, the first class reacted to what turned out to be a three-hour gourmet relaxation. Let me begin, this is a first-class culinary restaurant. Well-trained team and seasoned to attract attention to service; and detail in their presentations. We sat in a special window seat for privacy and very important conversations. With Daniel's help I went to the wine cellar and chose an excellent Malbec. You know, your night will be special when the wine without being asked!!! We started the evening with grilled octopus and an interesting sausage that complemented the octopus amazingly beautifully. Next we had prepared fresh tuna excellent for a beautiful mix of local fresh vegetables in a bowl configuration that made the presentation excellent. I told you this is a must to visit restaurant experience. My choice was a nicely prepared duck breast in a very and appealing orange sauce. The duck that is a favorite of me was expertly prepared and perfect. We ordered a second bottle of Malbec as we had a car service waiting for us. The dessert was very special, a solid chocolate petit four accompanied by homemade vanilla ice cream. I am blessed to have often experienced the Brussels chocolate district. About Brussels, Restaurante Daniel is here to offer you a solid competition. That was perhaps my memory dinner all over Latin America. What followed was enjoyment of Malbec and amazing conversation with my very special dinner guest. Restaurante Daniel in Bogota will my way to the restaurant in Bogota for special and business completion!! Bravo Team Daniel!!!!

Not to worry: the cocktail bar is first rate and they have a half dozen interesting cocktail specialties of the house. Of those we can personally recommend their version of the Negroni. Delicious. The food was amazing as well and the service was spot on. I could go on and on. One suggestion: choose to dine in the New York City themed bar area rather than the somewhat stuffy, white linen tablecloth room. In addition to the more comfortable vibe, you will enjoy a thoughtfully curated mix of US soul, R&B, country western and classic pop music.
