Very recommended restaurant. Make reservations, even if small town, not many tables. We had no reservations, but were lucky that someone did not show. We saw that several people disappeared for later times without reservations. Food was absolutely amazing. We have the Ling that was delicious. I usually eat not even fish, but tried it and was absolutely delicious. Potatoes, carrots and beer were perfect. The best was dessert, apple cake with ice cream. I love apple cake, but that was the best dessert we ever had. We were in Iceland twice and that made us aware that we need to try more sitting restaurants

That was the second best restaurant I've ever eaten in the first, is known to be one of the best in the world, so that's a fantastic performance. The location began with magnificent views over the working harbour. The restaurant is beautiful and welcoming without feeling at the forefront. The food was the best seafood I had ever drank cod trees (and they knew they could be so good). Don't think about it, just go.

Had the most wonderful meal here. Would highly recommend the tasting menu. The staff was also beautiful and the atmosphere felt comfortable and intimate. It is a small restaurant and popular so make sure to book in advance!

The combination of a great location with a beautiful view... next to the port in Stykkishólmur... and delicious food placed this restaurant in my top three restaurant selection... on my last 2 months trip to Iceland. The quality and selection of local dishes is excellent and the menu is innovative and delicious. The presentation of dishes simple but excellent ... highlight top notch Icelandic seafood and other tempting dishes. Both service and security measures were tops and made the whole experience even more pleasant. Anyway, back to my next visit to Iceland... and by the way, make sure you make a reservation, otherwise you could not get a table!

MUST GO. Favorite restaurant of the trip. We didn’t get the tasting menu… we just ordered one of each dish. Highlights: cod cheeks, sourdough bread, wolffish.
