Nice old restaurant is a bit small, more like a pub, eating out is not recommended, everything is made from ready-made things and not fresh, prices are good, I would go there again for a drink but unfortunately eating there is out of the question

A village inn straight out of a picture book may it remain in Hofen for a long time.

I was in the Ochsen for the first time for the annual revival of the greadeffeles and it won 't be the last time. The food is excellent, there are things that hardly anyone offers anymore, such as kidneys with wonderful roasted potatoes and salad. Since cozy dining in a nice atmosphere is dying out in Stuttgart and you can hardly get regional cuisine anymore, as a passionate hobby cook I will probably have to drive regularly from Vaihingen to Hofen in the future if I don 't want to cook myself. It 's been a long time since I 've enjoyed such delicious home cooking in good company. My big recommendation, it 's worth a visit...

Good, home-style cooking at fair prices and in large portions.
