Cus... read more Overall, everything was completely satisfactory. Only the new employee, who is currently still in training, may initially struggle due to language barriers. Customers are unlikely to be willing to repeat their orders multiple times, and there is a risk of misunderstandings when taking orders. Otherwise, however, everything was perfect: The food is of excellent quality, the selection of dishes is very well done, and the range of alcoholic beverages is remarkably diverse, especially the selection of high-quality rum.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the coconut curry soup with chicken. The soup was watery instead of creamy, and the mushrooms and cherry tomatoes seemed as if they had been added just before serving. The chicken was completely overcooked and tough as rubber. The server was attentive and came to me immediately after seeing my reaction. However, after I mentioned that the chicken was very tough, I had hoped they would offer me an alternative. Instead, the information was simply passed on to the kitchen. Nevertheless, we ate the soup – partly because we were hungry and had just come in from the cold. For €6.50 per small bowl, I would have expected significantly more. The subsequent sushi dishes were okay, but rather average compared to other restaurants. Overall, the visit was unfortunately disappointing, even though the staff were generally friendly.

However, after we sat down, no one came to take our order for quite some time. Only after we alerted a waiter ourselves was our order finally taken. The drinks arrived late, and the food never came at all. Other guests who arrived after us were served multiple times and even received a second course, while we were left without food after waiting for almost an hour. It seemed to us as if our order hadn't been passed on to the kitchen. Despite asking the staff several times, nothing changed. Out of disappointment, we finally got up, put on our jackets, and left the restaurant without having eaten. Such service is unacceptable.
