The food tasted ab... read more I was very disappointed with my visit here. After waiting in line for a long time, I had high expectations, which unfortunately were not met. The food tasted absolutely nothing authentically Korean to me. I have tried Mandu in other cities such as Düsseldorf and Bonn, and Bonn in particular offers heavenly, traditional cuisine prepared with heart. In comparison, I really can't recommend Mandu in Stuttgart to anyone looking for traditional Korean food. A big negative was that there wasn't even kimbap on the menu when I was there. Maybe it's back now, but my experience back then was very disappointing. For the price it's just not worth it if you're expecting real Korean food. I want to emphasize: the food wasn't bad! It was tasty and the customer service was very nice, and the location was also cute. But I go out for Korean food because I want authentic Korean food, and that's exactly what I was missing here. As someone who knows what authentic Korean food tastes like and has experience with it, I felt it just wasn't authentic enough. If I want food that isn't authentically Korean, I might as well make it myself. But when I go to a Korean restaurant, I expect a real Korean taste experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't fulfilled here and that's why I can't recommend it.
